Scheduled Events for Today:

10:00 – Project Presentations (all students must attend)

11:30 – Clean-up at GC building (all students must help)

3:30 –Key WestTrip

 

 Eating Group Projects:

  1. Each group needs to have a presentation board ready by 10:00 today.
  2. The second and third year students will stay at the presentation board and present it to first-year students.
  3. First-year students will take notes on each of the other boards.
  4. Each eating group must submit a hard copy of your paper.
  5. Each paper must be submitted using Turn it in.com.
  6. All specimens used in these projects must be returned to their natural habitats.
  7. All materials used in these projects must be cleaned up and packed up.

 

 2nd– and 3rd-Year Student Projects:

  1. Each student should have their project completed by 10:00 today.
  2. Each paper must be submitted using Turn it in.com.  A hard copy is not necessary.
  3. All specimens used in these projects must be returned to their natural habitats.
  4. All materials used in these projects must be cleaned up and packed up.

 

 Key West Excursion:

  1. We will leave at 3:30.  Board the bus prior to this departure time.
  2. ALL students will participate in this excursion.
  3. Supper is on your own inKey West. 
  4. We will leaveKey Westby 8:30.

 

General Announcements:

  1. Spend time today cleaning up your room.
  2. Extra adult help would be appreciated in getting the GC building cleaned.
  3. Books in eating units need to be packed neatly in boxes and returned to room 119 IMMEDIATELY after breakfast tomorrow.
  4. All school equipment (computers, books, glassware, etc) needs to be returned to room 119 IMMEDIATELY after breakfast tomorrow.
  5. We need several adults to volunteer to do room checks tomorrow after the students clear out.
  6. Curfew is the same time tonight as every night.

 

 Keeping Pace with Your Work:

  1. Five habitat profiles – GMF, Mangroves, Human-made, Coral reef,RockyCoast
  2. Six seminar worksheets should be completed – Porifera, Cnidaria, Molluska, Annelida, Echinodermata, Arthropoda
  3. Five Ecological profiles completed (in addition to the one completed inGoshen)
  4. All algae classifications
  5. All water quality work
  6. Group project should be complete – poster complete, paper typed, printed and submitted using Moodle.
  7. Notes taken over each group project

All work is due by 10:00 a.m. today.
